Delve into a world of nature through a relaxing and inspiring, drawing and painting course with artist tutor Madeleine Pires.

Over the course you will learn how to gather natural visual stimuli and progress your drawing skills, exploring form, tonal values and shading, developing skills in observation and hand-eye coordination.

You will look at the importance of noticing “keywords” and “key themes” in developing a drawing for a painting. You will be encouraged to express and enhance facets of your own personality and preferences in your artwork, to create something truly authentic and special.

We will learn how to exaggerate aesthetically pleasing shapes as well as simplifying visual areas, how to make important decisions about what to include and what to omit in your painting, whilst developing intuitive skills in understanding what a particular subject matter is saying.

With each session, you will receive a course handout to download and keep. The handouts detail what that session has covered so all the information is there to refer back at any time.

You can start your course instantly and watch videos in your own time as you will have access to your course for 12 weeks after purchase!
