How do I buy an online course?

Select the course you are interested in on the art classes page. Click Find Out More.

When you are happy you want to buy, click the Take this course button, which will take you to the product page, where you should click Add to Basket.

Then simply checkout.

What do I get with an online course?

When you book an online course, you are gaining access to:

  • taught sessions from our professional artist tutors, either as pre-recorded video or live sessions (which are recorded and avaiable as videos afterwards). These are released at set times throughout your course, but you can go back and watch them as many times as you like.
  • handouts for each lesson, outlining the main points covered, for you to refer back to. These PDFs can be dowloaded and kept.
  • access to a closed Facebook group, just for members of your course, through which you can ask your tutor questions, get feedback on your work and share experiences, tips and advice with fellow students.

Who is teaching these courses?

All our online courses are being taught by the same artist tutors who run our “in person” classes in Liverpool. They are all practising artists, with many years of teaching experience, who, with the help of dot-art, are now able to offer their expertise virtually!

All our tutors have been working very hard to quickly learn new digital skills and transfer their knowledge online. By buying an online course, you are also helping these independent creative professionals maintain thier livelihood during this difficult period. So thank you!

What payment methods do you accept?

We use PayPal to take payments.

However you do NOT need a PayPal account to buy a course, you can simply pay with any debit or credit card.

How do I access my course?

Once payment has been made, you will be sent to a confirmation page, which contains a link to your own Personal Dashboard, which you should bookmark, as this is where you will always be able to access online classes you have bought.

You will also be emailed your username and password for your reference.

How do I access LIVE sessions as part of my course?

Half an hour before each live session, you will be able to log into your personal dashboard, visit the lesson page and find a link and password to a Zoom session.

Simply click the link at the time the session starts, enter the password and off you go!

If you have not used Zoom before, you will need to sign up for a free account (see this page), but don’t worry, it takes 20 seconds.

How do I gain access to the closed Facebook Group for my course?

Once you have made your booking and before the class starts, we will be in touch to connect on Facebook and invite you to the individual Facebook group for your course.

How long will I have access to my course?

You can go back and access all elements of your course for 12 weeks.

You can also download and keep the PDF Handouts for each lesson.
