About dot-art Darkroom
dot-art operates an open access darkroom in Liverpool city centre. The dot-art Darkroom contains all of the standard components required to take black and white camera film and transform it into beautiful negatives and black and white photographs.
Whether you’re a complete beginner who has never seen the inside of a darkroom, or a more advanced artist needing an extra bit of guidance, the dot-art darkroom has everything you need to create fantastic photographs.
dot-art supports visual artists and champions art as an integral part of everyday life. We do this by selling locally sourced, affordable art, working with businesses to put art in the workplace and public realm, running art classes and working with schools and community groups.
All this is underpinned by our unique membership scheme for artists in the North West which gives access to all the activities above and a package of support and advice, creating and developing artists’ careers.
