Martin Kavanagh
Martin Kavanagh: “I always enjoyed painting since I was a young boy at school and at a young age, won a competition for a piece of work I that depicted the backdrop of my school. This piece was then exhibited at Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, and inspired my love for art. On leaving school I went into engineering where I worked for over twenty years. I am now semi-retired and have more time to enjoy painting and visit galleries. Among my favourite artists, I particularly like the works of Monet, Degas and Dali. Now I have more time to devote to painting and hope to continue enjoying my love of art.”
