Laura Mejia
Laura Mejia was born in Spain. From a young age, her passion for drawing and painting became evident, leading her to pursue a degree in Fine Arts at the University of Malaga from 2012 to 2016.
Driven by her desire to deeper into the arts world and its impact on society, Laura furthered her education by completing a Master in Social Development of Culture and Arts at the same university. This allowed her to explore the intersection between art and social change, expanding her artistic horizons.
Looking for new challenges and opportunities, Laura moved to England after the pandemic and she now resides in the city of Liverpool, where she showcased her work at the Liverpool Art Fair 2023.
Laura’s work captures the essence of her experiences and emotions, often reflecting themes of identity, culture and societal issues. Her style combines vibrant colours, intricate details and a profound sense of story telling.
