Charlotte Barnes
I am a Welsh Artist from Wrexham recently moving to Liverpool, previously exhibiting in multiple galleries in North Wales and most recently in Elevator Studios.
My works are predominantly inspired by my surroundings, therefore I enjoy venturing to new places and capturing the scenery within my artwork through realism.
Being in Wales, my works tend to focus on the natural beauty of the Welsh landscape with lots of sheep, however after moving to Liverpool I’ve enjoyed sketching the architecture dotted around the city, bringing elements into my work.
My more fun and abstract pieces focus more on capturing the atmosphere of a place, through bold colours and texture with bold brush strokes and mixed media.
The aim is to recreate the beauty of the world outside to be able to hang inside.
