Susan Lee Brown
Susan Lee Brown is a painter and printmaker. Her prints are created using various techniques including dry point, woodcuts, linocuts, etching and engraving. These are usually limited editions and original in their execution.
Susan studied Fine Art at the University of California, preceding her move to the Northwest of the U.K. in 1979. This necessitated a change of technique and style in her artwork, which has evolved over time. Running courses at the Bluecoat gallery and through dot-art have supported both printmaking and artistic development.
Susan feels that the Northwest provides inspiration for city scenes, rural and animal depictions as well as seascapes and beach scenes. She is a member of the Wirral Society of Arts and is currently listed in Who’s Who in Art. Susan has work in private, national and international collections.
