Rebecca Gardom is an artist based in Liverpool. From murals in Texas to collograph printmaking in Derbyshire, she ‘s worked in a number of locations experimenting with different styles, mediums and techniques. She has developed a unique style that centres around the dynamic use of colour and detailed blending.
Her abstract pieces are rich and complex and evoke a different reaction in everyone who sees them, which is exciting and fascinating to her. She takes inspiration from places she’s visited, moments in time and emotions they create. To her the process of making art is essential, with influences from a wide range of artists like Yves Klein, JMW Turner and Barbara Hepworth. Her paintings are full of feeling and emotion, a form of meditation and intense focus that evolves over time.
