Haylea Archer
Haylea Archer has held a lifetime interest in the arts and painting has always been a interest of hers. However, the last few years has seen painting become a passion of hers whilst training to become an Art Psychotherapist. Art therapy has given Haylea an understanding of the process of art and art making from a psychoanalytical, symbolic and metaphorical perspective. As an emerging artist, Haylea has completed a number of commissions for private collectors and has sold paintings privately and online. Haylea’s passion for painting is evident in her therapeutic approach to creating work with an aim to to share a strong emotional connection with others through creating art.
Haylea believes that varied life experiences has broadened her horizons and very much influenced her work. The paintings develop as a result to how she is feeling at the time with bold, textured and emotive outcomes. Haylea has a unique style bursting with colour, energy and life. She enjoys working with oils and acrylics but has recently been experimenting with clay and sculptures. Influences can be seen from Monet, Kandinsky and Renoir with contemporary nods to contemporary artists such as Victoria Horkan, Gugi Goo and Amy Elizabeth.
