Emily Bartlett is a Liverpool based artist who grew up on a dairy farm in rural Dorset, South West England.
At only 18, Emily achieved a triple distinction in her BTEC National Diploma in Art and Design. The same year saw her relocate to the vibrant city of Genoa, Italy, where she taught English whilst drawing inspiration for her art from her vivid, colourful Italian surroundings. To this day, Emily’s art portfolio is influenced by the bustling, bright Mediterranean cityscape that provided the backdrop to her life during her late teens and early twenties. After six years in Italy, Emily returned to Dorset in early 2015 to continue painting recreationally, as well as in her professional life, leading art sessions with special educational needs adults. Since August, Emily has lived in Liverpool, where she has her own art studio. Her forte is large scale, experimental and expressive artwork, whilst recently she has been exploring the mediums of ceramics and woodwork.
Emily is the Italian/British collaborator of the Italian graphic design company Firma.
Many of Emily’s art works are currently held on display in Italy, however her most recent pieces are on location in Liverpool.
