Buying Art & Where to Start: Inspiration for Art Lovers

Buying art can be filled with tough decisions including where to start and what to choose. We always say that you should buy what you love and we’re always on hand to help customers and clients navigate through the selection process – which is the best part of your art journey!

Selecting a piece of artwork should be enjoyable and something that we’re always keen to make as easy as possible. As well as regular exhibitions at our Liverpool city centre gallery, thousands of pieces of work can be found by browsing the online portfolios of dot-art Artist Members. These portfolios can be browsed by artist or by seeing all artworks together in the dot-art online shop. Narrowing down your selection from thousands of available artworks is now easier with a variety of filters on the left hand side of the page. Whether you’re looking for something big or small, original or limited edition, a painting or sculpture – we have artwork for every art lover’s budget!

Don’t know where to start? Take a look at some recently sold works below for inspiration. Click on artist names to view their dot-art portfolio and browse other works by the same artist.
