Garry Lawlan is a Liverpool based artist who graduated from Leeds university in 1978. His cartoon and illustration work has been published in many newspapers and books. He has been influenced by many artists and illustrators over the years including Picasso and Roger Dean.
His current work is split into two distinct themes, the surreal and fantastic watercolour landscapes of the artists imagination, and more traditional landscape paintings including a number of scenes of Liverpool.
